Privacy Notice
Sage Wonder Press, trading as Early Kinder, is the data controller for personal data collected through earlykinder.com. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have.

1. Who we are
Sage Wonder Press ("we", "us") operates Early Kinder. We decide how and why your personal data is processed, which makes us the data controller. Contact us at hello@earlykinder.com.
2. What we collect and why
- Account data (name, email address, sign-in identifier from Google where used) — to create and secure your account and give you access to your purchases. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Purchase records (product purchased, order reference, purchase status and date) — to unlock your downloads and keep accurate sales records. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
- Newsletter sign-up (email address, optional name) — to send you updates about Early Kinder resources. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Support messages (anything you send us by email) — to answer your query. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Technical and usage data (IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, aggregate analytics) — to keep the site secure and improve it. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
Payment card details are never collected or seen by us. Payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, under their own privacy notice.
3. Children's data
Early Kinder is written for adults — parents, carers and early years practitioners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and you do not need to give us any information about your child to use the site or the resources.
4. Who we share data with
- Service providers and subprocessors: hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, and analytics providers acting on our instructions.
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for sale of products, payments, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds.
- Professional advisers such as accountants or legal advisers where necessary.
- Authorities or regulators where we are required to disclose by law.
We do not sell your personal data or share it for third-party advertising.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
Account and purchase records are kept while your account is active and for up to six years after the last transaction to meet tax and accounting obligations. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Support emails are kept for up to two years. Analytics data is kept in aggregated or anonymised form. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, request erasure, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and private storage for purchased files that is only unlocked for the account that bought them.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to process checkout. These are required for the site to work. Where we use analytics, it is limited to aggregate traffic measurement. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though sign-in and purchases may then stop working.
